My steering is noisy and resistant in my 94 Honda Accord LX. I changed the fluid and it didn't fix it. Some are saying I should use Honda fluid, I used regular STP fluid. Any truth to the Honda fluid being special?
It appears the pump is working because with the car running, you can look at the fluid and it appears to be being pumped. _________________ "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents,

Either pump is getting weak or you might have a bigger steering rack issue... _________________ Hasta la victoria siempre |

apparently there is a difference in the viscosity from other ps/tranny fluids. some folks say the viscosity diff can affect the seals/rack/pressure on hondas. some ps fluids are labeled "not for honda's" so i tend to think there may be an operational difference
for the relatively small difference in cost, go with the honda brand or an oem that specifies honda
-be sure to report back if the honda brand made any difference (if you havent ruined your steering system already that is ) _________________ >>╒µ¢|< Û @nÐ ýðµR "ƒrΣΣ" ÞØ®ñ§¡┬€§
